Buttonwood Homeowners Association

Dear Residents,
The Buttonwood Field HOA Board of Directors has now convened twice to begin the formal process of assuming governance responsibilities for our community. The following provides an overview of actions taken to date. The Board will meet again on January 18th to continue organizational work.
At its initial meeting, the Board unanimously appointed the following officers:

• Amber McLearan – Vice President
  
  
  
• Cliff Ragan – Treasurer
  
  
  
• Tom Lyday – Secretary

The Board also approved the hiring of Quigley Law Office as legal counsel. Counsel will assist with reviewing the HOA’s current incorporation status and guiding the steps necessary to initiate the official transfer of authority from the developer. Initial staggered board terms were established as follows:

• 1-Year Terms: Tragesser, Graham
  
  
  
• 2-Year Terms: Lyday, Tice
  
  
  
• 3-Year Terms: McLearan, Smith, Ragan
  
  
  

All items were approved unanimously.
In addition, the Board has begun planning for:

• Completion of an updated neighborhood roster
  
  
  
• Development of a process for member notifications
  
  
  
• Review of snow-removal expectations
  
  
  
• Creation of HOA communication tools, including website and social media options
  
  
  
• Preparation for future lawncare and maintenance contract bids
  
  
  

A complete copy of the official meeting minutes is available upon request. Additional updates will be shared as the HOA progresses toward full incorporation, anticipated in early 2026.
